Location: Muskogee Campus Hospital, Muskogee, Oklahoma
Contract Duration: July 6, 2026 – October 3, 2026 (13 Weeks)
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, 36 hours/week
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Pay Rate: $50.00/Hour (Traveler Pay)

Position Overview

Saint Francis Health System is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at its Muskogee Campus. The RN will provide comprehensive emergency nursing care utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

This position requires strong emergency nursing experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
Utilize the nursing process to provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
Prioritize and manage multiple patients in a busy Emergency Department setting.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and hospital policies.
Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic EMR.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff.
Delegate responsibilities appropriately and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and mandatory educational activities.
Complete incident and variance reports when necessary.
Required Qualifications
Experience
Minimum Emergency Department experience required.
Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
Experience working with high-acuity emergency patients.
Epic EMR experience required.
Education
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Licensure
Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact Multistate RN License.
Required Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
