Tulsa, OK | 13 Weeks | Days/Evenings | Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–10:30 PM
Seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing MRI examinations, patient screening, positioning, image evaluation, and MRI safety procedures.
Position Details
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days/Evenings
Schedule: Monday–Thursday
Hours: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Openings: 1
Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols
Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
Set up coils and monitoring equipment
Screen patients for metal objects and contraindicated implants
Ensure MRI safety for patients, visitors, and staff
Evaluate images for quality and completeness
Process and send images to PACS
Maintain accurate examination and departmental records
Explain procedures clearly and address patient questions
Perform equipment quality-control testing and report discrepancies
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
ARRT-R OR ARMRIT certification
BLS certification
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
Preferred
ARRT (MR) certification
