Job Summary

Saint Francis Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency to provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Center at Saint Francis Hospital South Campus.

The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process and in accordance with hospital standards, unit policies, and procedures. The RN will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
Assess patients, develop care plans, and monitor outcomes.
Perform appropriate nursing skills and prioritize patient needs.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Exercise sound clinical judgment and respond to changing patient conditions.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Provide patient education and support discharge planning.
Make appropriate referrals and participate in quality improvement activities.
Complete required training, in-services, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse license valid in Oklahoma or a valid multi-state RN license.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
Emergency/acute-care nursing experience preferred.
Experience with Epic preferred/required per position requirements.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
Strong attention to detail when evaluating clinical and numerical information.
Working knowledge of disease-state management, the bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways.

BLS – American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS

Preferred Certifications

ENPC
TNCC

Education

Completion of an approved professional nursing program resulting in a nursing diploma or degree recognized by the applicable state Board of Nursing.
