Description

Operating Room Nurse – Travel Assignment (New York)

Seeking an experienced OR Nurse (Travel) for a high-volume surgical facility in New York.

🕒 Shift & Hours
11:00 AM – 11:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

Hours: 72 hrs bi-weekly
“Bi-weekly” = every 2 weeks
You are expected to work 72 hours in 2 weeks total

Since each shift is 12 hours:
72 ÷ 12 = 6 shifts per 2 weeks (≈ 3 shifts per week average)

🏥 Facility Highlights

Pediatric to adult patient population
~50 surgical cases per day
14 OR suites + Labor & Delivery (C-sections coverage)
Specialties: vascular, ortho trauma, general surgery, robotics, urology, ENT
No cardiac or ophthalmology cases

📋 Requirements

2+ years current OR experience (required)
Strong vascular & ortho trauma experience (required)
Scrub + circulate experience (required)
Travel nursing experience (required)
Epic EMR experience (required)
BLS & ACLS (required)
Active New York RN license
Must have own vehicle
Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Patterns Hiring Job ID #66778. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
