Coordinates total nursing care for patients
Participates in patient and family teaching
Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting

Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 4/5
Average daily patient census: 22

Call-back, Holiday and OT multipliers: 1.25%

Charge: 3/hr

2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience - [Required]
May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg and to any unit within scope of practice
CHARGE RN EXPERIENCE [REQUIRED] - Not negotiable!
Previous Travel (at least 3 months) - [Required]
Bachelor of Science in Nursing / BSN [preferred]

NOTE MT ASCUTNEY 3 STRIKE RULE FOR CALL OFFS (enforced immediately):
After 3 call offs, a traveler's contract will be eligible for termination due to lack of attendance at Mt Ascutney Hospital and Health Center's discretion
Each call off must be communicated to the unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance
