Job Description:
- Administers radiation treatments, simulations, dosimetry functions, and fabricates blocks in preparation for treatment.
- Requires initiative and independent judgment. Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.
- Performs radiation therapy treatments as required in either a scheduled or emergent environment under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist.
- Updates procedure manuals as needed. Manages daily treatment schedule of all assignments on the clinical equipment.
- Observes and demonstrates familiarity with all safety features in each clinical area.
- Works closely with reception, Nursing, and physician components in the provision of patient care
Shift: Days (7:00am - 4:30pm)
Weekend Requirements: TBD/Holidays required if needed
