Travel MRI Technologist

Location: Brattleboro, VT
Facility: Brattleboro Memorial Hospital
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (Sunday–Wednesday)
Hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (40 Hours Guaranteed)
Call: Possible On-Call
Weekends: None

Job Overview

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The MRI Technologist will perform a wide range of MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and adherence to MRI safety standards. This role requires the ability to work independently with limited supervision in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols.
Prepare, screen, and position patients for MRI procedures.
Ensure compliance with MRI safety guidelines and patient screening protocols.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and provide compassionate care.
Administer contrast as appropriate and perform venipuncture when required.
Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner EMR.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and report concerns as needed.
Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of MRI Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
Siemens MAGNETOM Sola Expert experience required.
ARRT certification required.
Current AHA BLS certification required.
Venipuncture Certification or willingness to obtain.
Strong knowledge of MRI safety practices.
Ability to work independently with excellent clinical judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
Travel MRI experience.
Experience with Cerner EMR.
Experience with Toshiba MRI equipment.

Patterns Hiring Job ID #68667. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
