Assignment Location: 8 Conte Drive, Pittsfield, MA
Start Date: September 21, 2026
End Date: January 2, 2027
Duration: Approximately 15 weeks
Shift: Days
Shift Time: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Hours: 12-hour shifts / 36 hours per week
Positions Available: 1
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Holidays as needed
On-Call: No call

Job Description

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Renal/Dialysis for a temporary assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate will have strong recent renal nursing experience and the ability to provide safe, high-quality care to patients requiring dialysis and other renal services. The RN will work collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team while maintaining accurate documentation and following facility policies and standards.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients with renal conditions.
Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions throughout treatment.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Provide patient and family education related to treatment and care.
Follow all patient safety, infection-control, and facility policies.
Maintain professional standards of nursing practice.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of current Renal RN experience required.
Active Massachusetts RN license required and must be in hand at the time of profile submission.
Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
Candidate must have their own reliable vehicle.
Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
