Shift: Days | 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts | 40 hours guaranteed
Call: Required, including weekend call

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to support the Cardiac Cath Lab at McLaren Northern Michigan. The technician will assist the cardiac catheterization team with procedures, patient preparation, equipment setup, and maintaining a safe and efficient procedural environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians and the cardiac cath team during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Prepare and position patients for Cath Lab procedures and provide appropriate procedural support.
Set up, operate, and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies.
Assist with sterile procedures and maintain appropriate aseptic/sterile technique.
Monitor patients during procedures and communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical team.
Assist with procedural room turnover, inventory, and equipment preparation.
Follow radiation safety, infection-control, and patient-safety protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient workflow within the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Participate in on-call coverage, including weekend call, as required.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technician experience – Required
RCIS certification – Required and must be documented
BLS (AHA) – Required
Current/relevant Cath Lab experience strongly preferred.
Must be available for required call and weekend call coverage.
