Registered Nurse (RN) | Med Surg

Pittsfield, MA | 13 Weeks | 48 hrs/week | Day Shift | No Call

Seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a travel assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This is a great opportunity for a strong acute-care nurse who is comfortable with telemetry, floating across Med Surg units, and working a full 48-hour schedule.

Position Highlights:

Start: September 28, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: 4 × 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hrs/week
Weekend: Every other weekend
Call: None
Holiday: Required if scheduled/needed
Patient Ratio: Typically 1:6
Unit Size: 20–34 beds, depending on unit
EMR: Meditech
Scrubs: Personal scrubs, any color
Floating: Must be willing to float to any Med Surg unit
Local Restriction: Travelers residing within 50 miles will not be considered
Transportation: Traveler must have their own vehicle
Block scheduling: Not available

Requirements:

✔ 2+ years of current Med Surg experience
✔ Telemetry experience
✔ Basic Dysrhythmia course completion
✔ Willingness to float to any Med Surg unit
✔ Active Massachusetts RN License — must be in hand at submission
✔ Active AHA BLS
✔ Active AHA ACLS
✔ NIHSS
✔ Current Med Surg Skills Checklist
✔ 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years
✔ Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred

Important Compliance Details:

All RTO must be disclosed at submission; maximum 5 days accepted.
No scheduling/block-scheduling accommodations will be approved.
At least two specific interview dates/times must be provided at submission; “anytime” will not be accepted.
Permanent address must be included in the profile.
Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License must be uploaded with the submission.
Travelers must be reachable by phone and have voicemail set up.
Travelers must be prepared to work required holiday blocks if scheduled.
