Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU / Perioperative / Endoscopy

Springfield, VT | 13 Weeks | Days

Start Date: 10/19/2026
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday
Occasional Friday: When on call
On-Call: 1 night/week + every 5th weekend
Weekend/Holiday: Every 5th weekend and holidays as needed
Local Radius: Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible.

Job Summary

Springfield Hospital is seeking an experienced PACU RN to support Perioperative, Endoscopy, and Recovery services. The ideal candidate must have high proficiency in all three areas and be comfortable working in a small critical-access hospital environment.

Requirements
2+ years of current outpatient PACU experience – Required
Perioperative experience – Required
Endoscopy experience – Required
Must be able to start and maintain IV lines
Previous travel experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Small critical-access facility experience preferred
Must have own vehicle
Perm address must be included in profile
All RTO/scheduling requests must be disclosed at submission
Required Certifications
BLS – AHA
ACLS – AHA
PALS – AHA
Required License
Active Vermont RN license or Compact RN license
License must be uploaded with submission

Current work history
PACU Skills Checklist – completed within the past year
Endoscopy Skills Checklist – completed within the past year
1 signed supervisory reference from the past 2 years
Vermont RN or Compact license
AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS

Patterns Hiring Job ID #70213. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
