RN | Med Surg/Telemetry

Lima Memorial Main Campus | Lima, OH | Oct 20, 2026 | 13 Weeks | Night Shift

Seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RN to provide care for adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring, medication management, and close assessment.

Position Highlights:

• 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• 36 hours guaranteed
• Every other weekend
• No call
• Must float to units within skill level
• 4–5:1 patient ratio
• MediTech EMR
• Navy blue scrubs

Key Duties:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Monitor telemetry and recognize cardiac rhythms
• Administer and manage cardiac medications and titratable therapies
• Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Monitor patients for signs and symptoms of stroke
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with and guide LPNs, PCTs, and unit support staff

Requirements:

✔ 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience
✔ Strong telemetry and cardiac rhythm knowledge
✔ Experience with Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardene, Dobutamine, Lasix, and Bumex
✔ Strong critical-thinking and communication skills
✔ Active Ohio or Compact RN license
✔ BLS (AHA)
✔ ACLS (AHA)
✔ NIHSS certification

Patterns Hiring Job ID #70323---0929. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
