RN | PACU

McLaren Bay Region | Bay City, MI | Oct 12, 2026 | 13 Weeks | Day Shift

Seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment providing post-anesthesia recovery care in an acute care setting.

Position Highlights:

• 12-hour shifts, 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
• Variable start/shift times
• 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call required
• Level II Trauma facility

Key Duties:

• Monitor vital signs and level of consciousness during anesthesia recovery
• Maintain airway and respiratory function
• Administer pain, nausea, and other post-operative medications
• Assess surgical sites, dressings, and potential complications
• Recognize adverse reactions and initiate appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with the surgical care team

Requirements:

✔ 2+ years of PACU experience
✔ Active Michigan RN license
✔ BLS (AHA)

Patterns Hiring Job ID #70418-0928. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
