Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 26-week travel assignment at Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong nuclear medicine experience and be skilled in nuclear medicine procedures, venipuncture, and operating GE equipment in a hospital setting.

Position Highlights:

• 36 hours/week guaranteed
• 40 hours/week scheduled
• 8-hour day shifts
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 26-week travel assignment
• No weekend requirement
• No on-call requirement
• No block scheduling
• Travel candidates only
• Candidate must have their own vehicle
• Department: Nuclear Medicine
• Facility: Glens Falls Hospital
• EMR: EPIC
• PACS: McKesson

Key Duties:

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures and imaging studies
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols
• Perform venipuncture and other patient-care procedures as required
• Operate GE nuclear medicine equipment
• Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen handling
• Maintain accurate imaging and patient documentation
• Work with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
• Follow radiation safety and department protocols
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff
• Follow established hospital and department policies and procedures
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of nuclear medicine examinations

Requirements:

✔ Minimum 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine experience required
✔ CT experience is a plus
✔ Previous travel experience strongly encouraged
✔ Venipuncture experience required
✔ Active New York State license required
✔ ARRT (N) OR CNMT/NMTCB certification required
✔ BLS (AHA) required
✔ GE machine experience required
✔ EPIC EMR experience required
✔ McKesson PACS experience required
✔ Permanent address must be included and must match Driver’s License/State ID
✔ Candidate must have their own vehicle
✔ Must meet Glens Falls Hospital compliance and medical/vaccination requirements
✔ 14-panel drug screen must be completed through an agency capable of running the entire panel within 24 hours of offer acceptance
✔ Welle Verbal De-escalation bundle training OR CPI training required for onboarding
✔ No more than 5 days of RTO; all RTO must be submitted and verified at upload
✔ Candidates residing in the following NY counties are not eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
