PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Glens Falls, NY
Start Date: 11/12/2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Friday–Sunday | 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
Schedule: 36 hours/week
Call: None
EMR: Cerner

Requirements
2+ years of recent PACU experience
EPIC experience required
Procedural sedation experience required
Experience with AM admissions, blocks, and recovery required
Current NY RN license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
Previous travel experience highly preferred
Must have reliable personal transportation
Responsibilities
Provide direct post-anesthesia patient care and recovery monitoring.
Assess and manage patients following surgical and procedural interventions.
Monitor patient response to anesthesia and provide appropriate interventions.
Participate in AM admissions, blocks, and recovery.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and NY State nursing standards.
Additional Information
Personal scrubs permitted; no designs, cartoons, or hoodies.
RTO must be disclosed at submission; up to 5 days accepted.
Permanent address must be included and match driver's license/state ID.
1 supervisory reference from the past 2 years required.
Current license/certifications must be submitted with the profile.
Prior Glens Falls Hospital or Albany Med experience must be disclosed.
Approved Welle or CPI training required for onboarding.
14-panel drug screen must be completed within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
