Ultrasound Technician | Sonography
Vail Valley Medical Center | Vail, CO | 13 Weeks | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week | Day Shift
Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician to support diagnostic imaging services at Vail Valley Medical Center.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week.
- No on-call requirements.
- Floating to other departments or locations required.
- Travel candidates only; 70-mile radius rule applies.
- Manager interview and offer required.
Key Duties:
- Perform ultrasound examinations and obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Position patients appropriately and ensure comfort and safety during procedures.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and follow imaging protocols.
- Maintain accurate examination records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care.
Requirements:
- Current, active RDMS certification or ARRT certification with Sonography (S) required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Must be available for floating assignments.
