📍 Utica, NY | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | 🏥 Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) RN – Nights

Seeking an experienced Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/PCU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This position is ideal for an RN with strong progressive care experience who is comfortable managing high-acuity adult patients with cardiac, neurological, respiratory, trauma, and post-operative conditions.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult IMCU/PCU patients
Care for patients with diagnoses including COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV Stepdown, Neuro, Trauma, and post-operative cases
Monitor and manage patients requiring chronic ventilator support with Respiratory Therapy collaboration
Utilize specialty equipment including temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems
Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
Deliver safe, evidence-based care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team

Requirements:

Active New York RN License
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 2+ years of recent IMCU/PCU experience
Previous travel experience required
EPIC EMR experience required

Assignment Details:

36 guaranteed hours per week
13-week assignment
Floating required
No block scheduling
Adult patient population (64-bed IMCU with 15 designated Neuro beds)
Local and travel candidates accepted (75-mile radius rule applies)
