Description

📍 Utica, NY | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | ⏱️ 36 hrs/week | ☀️ Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a high-volume maternity unit. Candidates must have strong travel experience and be proficient in caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using fetal monitoring systems
Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
Care for newborns immediately following delivery
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary OB team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
Float to appropriate units as needed

Requirements:

Minimum 4–5 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Active New York RN License
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Experience with EPIC/Stork EMR
Experience with OBIX fetal monitoring preferred

Assignment Details:

13-week assignment
36 hours per week
Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Floating required
Block scheduling is not guaranteed
Unit includes triage, antepartum, labor & delivery, recovery, and C-section ORs
Local and travel candidates accepted (75-mile radius policy)
