⏰ Shift: Rotating (Combination of 8, 10, and 12-Hour Shifts)

Position Overview
CHA Cambridge Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join its Diagnostic Radiology team on a 13-week travel assignment. This role requires a highly adaptable imaging professional capable of working across multiple radiology environments while providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients of all age groups.
The technologist will perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging procedures and must be comfortable working varied shift lengths, rotating schedules, weekends, and floating between affiliated sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations.
Conduct imaging exams including:
General Diagnostic Radiography
Portable X-rays
Fluoroscopy
Orthopedic Imaging
Surgical Imaging using C-Arm equipment
Emergency Department imaging
Assist physicians and surgical teams during procedures requiring fluoroscopic guidance.
Operate and adapt to various X-ray equipment vendors and imaging systems.
Ensure patient safety and radiation protection standards are maintained.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain exams clearly.
Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Float to affiliated CHA locations when needed (not more than one site per day).
Schedule Expectations
40 hours per week guaranteed.
Weekly schedule posted approximately 4 weeks in advance.
Shift lengths may vary between:
8-hour shifts
10-hour shifts
12-hour shifts
Must be flexible and agreeable to all shift durations.
Weekend availability is required.
No mandatory call requirement; optional call opportunities may be available.
Required Qualifications
Certifications & Licensure
Active ARRT Certification required at submission.
Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License required at submission.
Current AHA BLS Certification required.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent Radiologic Technologist experience.
Strong experience in:
Diagnostic X-Ray
Portable Imaging
Fluoroscopy
Orthopedic Imaging
OR/C-Arm procedures
Familiarity with operating room workflows preferred.
Technical Skills
Experience with multiple radiology equipment platforms.
Ability to adapt quickly to different imaging environments.
