Description
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in a busy surgical services department. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced OR environment supporting a variety of surgical procedures.
Schedule:
• 13 Week Assignment
• 40 Hours Guaranteed
• Rotating 4 x 10-Hour Shifts
• No Block Scheduling
• Every Other Major Holiday Required
Requirements:
• Active Massachusetts RN License
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Minimum 1+ Year Recent Operating Room RN Experience
• Prior Travel Experience Required
• EPIC Experience Preferred
Responsibilities:
• Provide perioperative nursing care throughout surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff
• Maintain patient safety and adherence to sterile technique
• Monitor and document patient care throughout the surgical process
• Ensure proper preparation of surgical equipment and supplies
• Support efficient OR workflow and high-quality patient outcomes
On-Call Requirements:
• On-call rotation every 5–6 evenings through 7:00 AM the following day
• Weekend on-call rotation approximately every 6th–7th weekend
• Must be flexible and available for changing surgical schedules
Additional Information:
• No floating required
• Both Local and Travel Candidates Accepted
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• RTO must be submitted at the time of profile submission
• First-time travelers will not be considered
