Description
Seeking an experienced Echo Sonographer to perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound studies in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position requires flexibility to work between two hospital locations and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Responsibilities:
Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, stress, and contrast echocardiograms
Assist with TEE procedures and TEE probe cleaning
Administer contrast agents as appropriate
Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
Ensure patient safety and provide compassionate care throughout procedures
Requirements:
Active RDCS certification (required at submission)
Minimum 2 years of Echo Sonography experience
Current AHA BLS certification
Experience with EPIC EMR
IV certification and contrast agent administration experience preferred
First-time travelers accepted
Assignment Details:
13-week assignment
40 hours per week
Day shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Work at both Cambridge and Everett locations
Rotating on-call, weekends, and holiday coverage
No block scheduling
Inpatient and outpatient setting
No floating required
Every other major holiday required
