Description
Cambridge, MA | 12 Weeks | 40 hrs/week | Overnight Shift
Seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a unique overnight schedule supporting hospital pharmacy operations.
Position Details
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Contract: 12 weeks
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Shift: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Local candidates: Accepted within 50 miles
Open to both local and travel candidates
Responsibilities
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
Oversee medication compounding personnel and pharmacy operations
Escalate operational issues to the on-call pharmacy manager when needed
Support safe and effective inpatient medication management
Work independently during overnight pharmacy operations
Requirements
Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
2–3 years of experience preferred
Overnight/inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
EPIC experience required
Experience with Pyxis automated dispensing systems
Experience with Pak-Edge unit-dose medication equipment
Current AHA BLS
2 recent Manager/Supervisor references
Must provide RTO at time of submission
Flu vaccination required during flu season
