Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) | Days

Cambridge, MA | 13 Weeks | 40 hrs/week | Rotating Days

Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic surgical environment. The ideal candidate should be flexible with varying shifts and comfortable participating in scheduled call rotations.

Position Details
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4x10s
Primary Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Potential Shifts: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Local Candidates: Accepted within 50 miles
On-Call: Every 5–6 evenings through 7:00 AM and every 6th–7th weekend
Weekend/Holiday: Every other major holiday
Block scheduling: Not available
Responsibilities
Provide safe and effective nursing care throughout the perioperative process
Assist with surgical procedures and maintain a safe operating room environment
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team
Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
Monitor patient safety and follow established surgical protocols
Adapt to changing surgical schedules and staffing needs
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience
Previous travel experience required
First-time travelers will not be considered
Active Massachusetts RN license
Current AHA BLS required
EPIC experience preferred
2 recent Manager/Supervisor references in matching specialty
Current specialty skills checklist
Flu vaccination required during flu season
RTO must be provided at time of submission
Must be flexible and willing to participate in the required call rotation
