Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry | Days

Cambridge, MA | 13 Weeks | 36 hrs/week | Days

Seeking an experienced MedSurg/Telemetry RN for a 13-week assignment supporting an acute-care medical-surgical unit. This role is ideal for an RN with strong telemetry skills and experience caring for medically complex adult patients.

Position Details
Start Date: September 15, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Weekend: Every other weekend
Holiday: Rotating / every other major holiday
On-Call: Not specified
Block Scheduling: Not available
Floating: Required
Local Candidates: Accepted within 50 miles
Charge Capability: Highly preferred
Patient Population

Common diagnoses include:

Alcohol abuse
COPD
Diabetes
CHF
Sepsis
Pneumonia
Requirements
1–2+ years of MedSurg/Telemetry experience
Telemetry experience required
Acute-care experience required
Experience administering antibiotics, anticoagulants, blood products, Lasix, and amiodarone
AHA BLS required
AHA ACLS preferred
Active Massachusetts RN license
EPIC experience preferred
2 recent MedSurg/Telemetry Charge RN, Manager, or Supervisor references
First-time travelers are welcome
Current specialty skills checklist
RTO must be provided at submission
Flu vaccination required during flu season
Additional Skills

Experience with Pyxis, Zebra scanners, bladder scanners, Dopplers, and general medical equipment is preferred.
