Facility: Clark Fork Valley Hospital

Schedule: Travel Assignment | 13 Weeks | 5x8 Days (Monday–Friday, possible rotating weekend coverage)

Pay Range: $2,189.83 – $2,576.27 / week

Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Plains, MT. Operating across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings, you will evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatments to restore function, improve mobility, and manage pain for a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and implement individualized physical therapy plans across inpatient, outpatient, and home health care environments.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and overall functional performance.
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on home treatment programs, safety protocols, and adaptive strategies.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient care documentation in alignment with facility standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MPT, or BSPT).
• Licensure & Certifications:
  • Active Montana State Physical Therapist license (or active compact license).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of clinical physical therapy experience preferred, ideally spanning outpatient and acute/inpatient settings.
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, adaptability across varied patient settings, and strong communication skills.
