Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ED)

We have a new assignment for RN - Emergency Department in Kotzebue, AK and are interviewing ASAP. This is a travel assignment, 3x12 Nights position.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Emergency Triage & Patient Assessment: Conduct rapid, comprehensive clinical assessments and prioritize care for pediatric through geriatric patients presenting with acute illnesses, trauma, or emergency medical conditions.
• Critical Interventions & Resuscitation: Administer emergency medications, manage advanced airways, monitor continuous cardiac rhythms (EKG), and initiate lifesaving protocols for high-acuity patients (STEMI, stroke, trauma, septic shock).
• Cross-Functional & Behavioral Health Care: Provide specialized stabilization and care for behavioral health patients, with readiness to float to Medical-Surgical or acute units as needed.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with emergency physicians, mid-level providers, and regional emergency transport teams to coordinate rapid care, patient stabilization, and transfer protocols.
• Culturally Sensitive Care: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care tailored to the needs of the local community and diverse patient populations.

Pay Range $2,558.50 - $3,010.00 Per Week
