Position Overview

NuWest is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for an 8-week travel contract in Browning, Montana. The LPN will provide safe, compassionate bedside care on the night shift under the direction of RNs and physicians. The ideal candidate is dependable and detail-oriented and works well independently during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring and recording vital signs, assessing patient condition, and reporting changes to the RN or provider
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following safe medication practices
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other routine nursing procedures
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort, mobility, and safety
• Collect specimens and perform basic diagnostic procedures as permitted by scope of practice
• Document care, observations, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record
• Communicate clearly with the care team during shift report and handoff
• Follow infection control, safety, and patient privacy standards

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license valid in Montana (or compact license, if applicable)
• Minimum [X] year(s) of recent LPN experience
• Ability to work night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screening
