Position Overview

NuWest is seeking a Registered Nurse for a local night-shift contract in De Pere, Wisconsin. In this role, you will provide skilled nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will work with the interdisciplinary team to keep residents safe, comfortable, and well cared for overnight. This is a great fit for a dependable RN who is comfortable working independently on nights.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver direct nursing care to residents, including monitoring vital signs and changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following safe medication practices
• Perform wound care, injections, IV therapy, and other skilled nursing procedures within scope of practice
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs, delegating tasks appropriately
• Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and the care team, and respond promptly to urgent situations
• Document assessments, interventions, and resident responses accurately and timely
• Maintain resident safety and infection control, including fall prevention
• Comply with all facility policies, state regulations, and HIPAA requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license valid in Wisconsin
• Must be local to the De Pere, WI area
• Experience as an RN (see my note below on level and setting)
• Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screening
