Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Springfield, Illinois.

**Required Experience and Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1 year of experience required. - Required work setting experience: Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown. - Required skills/experience: Cardiac monitoring and emergency response, cardiac and gastrointestinal skills, IV therapy/phlebotomy, medication skills, neurological/psychiatric, orthopedics, plastic surgery, respiratory skills, and professional topics. - Cerner experience is preferred. - Teaching hospital experience is preferred. - Level I Trauma experience is preferred. **Certifications and Licensure:** - Required: BLS, NIHSS. - Preferred: ACLS. - Must have active IL license to apply; pending license not accepted. **Additional Requirements:** - Travel experience required. - Must be able to manage specific medical cases and procedures as listed. - Will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed. - Candidate must be able to work weekends, floats are mandatory. **Work Schedule:** - Night shifts: 3x12 or 4x12. - Self-scheduling type. - Required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - Weekend coverage every other weekend is required. **Additional Information:** - Facility is an Acute Care Hospital - Level I Trauma Center, Magnet hospital. - Total staffed beds are 562.
