Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PICU RN to take an assignment in Omaha, Nebraska.
This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on April 27, 2026.

Job Details:

**Experience Requirements:** - Cardiac ICU experience - Pediatric experience - Minimum 2 years of experience required - Unit accepts 1st time travelers **Certifications Required:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) is listed, but not explicitly required **Skills and Special Procedures:** - Exposure or experience with ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) and CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) - Invasive cardiac monitoring (CVP, ART, RA, etc.) - Hemodynamic monitoring - Management of dysrhythmias - Post-cardiac surgery care - Administration of blood & blood products - Central line care and blood draw - PICC line management - IV vasopressors and antiarrhythmics - Pediatric dosage calculations - Sedation and procedural sedation administration/monitoring - Ventilator management - Intubation assistance/management - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Use of the Broselow system - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) **Patient Demographics and Facility Notes:** - Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics - Patient Diagnoses: Post-op open hearts, single ventricles, complex cardiac anatomy/physiology, heart transplant, heart failure **Additional Requirements:** - Float to PICU, NICU, Med/Surg departments if needed - Weekend Coverage: Required (3 out of 6 weekends) - Flu Vaccine: Required, with medical/religious exemptions only **Other Information:** - Locals not accepted within a 100-mile radius of the facility - Previous charge experience not specified as required - Patient ratios during the day, night, and weekends are 1:2
