**Experience Required:** - Minimum 2 years' experience required. - Required Work Setting Experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown. - Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience, Gastrointestinal Case Skills/Experience, Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience, IV therapy/Phlebotomy skills/experience, Medication Skills/Experience, Neurological/Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience, Surgical drains, Respiratory Case Skills/Experience, Professional Topics and Skills. - Previous charge experience preferred. - Cerner experience required. - Teaching hospital experience preferred. - Level I Trauma experience preferred. - Trauma Level I Experience preferred. **Certifications:** - ACLS and BLS required. - NIHSS (noted with an asterisk indicating additional explanation may be necessary in original context). **Licensure:** - Must have active IL license to apply. Pending license not accepted. **Skills and Qualifications:** - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry monitoring. - Cardiovascular skills including Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal, TR band. - Gastrointestinal and Genitourinary/Renal case skills including feeding tube care, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. - IV therapy/Phlebotomy including Accessing Ports, Arterial line, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. - Medication management including Heparin Protocols, Cardiac drips and Vasoactive drips management. - Neurological and Respiratory case skills including CVA, chest tubes management, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula. - Professional skills including isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac. - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, phlebotomy, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Tracheostomy care/management.
