**Experience Required:** - Experienced CVICU nurses needed for care of cardiac patients both pre and post-op. **Certifications and Licensure:** - License: Nursys - License/Certificate Verification **Skills and Qualifications:** - Flexibility in scheduling for surgical cases. - Willingness to be on call and float to other units such as PICU, Peds, and NICU. **Checklist/Testing and Onboarding Requirements (not necessarily experience but required for onboarding):** - Ascension Pharmacology Exam - Ascension Specialty Exam - Ascension Core Competencies - Ascension Safe Sleep - Ascension EKG Exam - Ascension Skills Checklist - Professional references and criminal background check - Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen - Education verification - Employment verification **Health and Personal Requirements:** - MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, and 2 Step PPD OR IGRA - Health Statement - Driver's License/State ID - Personal health records required for onboarding **Professional Documentation:** - Ascension Profile, Education Attestation, Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding - Additional professional references and criminal background check - Confirmation of assignment, name change document if applicable, and badge photo These requirements outline the eligibility and preparatory steps for candidates interested in the CVICU nurse position.
