Summary:
Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a Oncology RN to take an assignment in Springfield, Illinois.
This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on April 20, 2026.

Job Details:

**Years of Experience Required:** - Minimum 1 year experience required - 18 months exp. required, refer to job description for exceptions **Certifications:** - Chemo cert preferred (ONS/ONCC, OCN, BLSSkills) **Licensure:** - Must have active IL license in hand or be in application process to apply - MUST have IL license in hand at submission **Preferred Experience:** - Previous Charge Experience preferred - Charting System Experience: Preferred Cerner - Community Hospital Experience: Preferred - LTAC Experience: Preferred - Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred - Trauma Level II Experience: Preferred **Skills Required:** - Required Chemotherapy Skills/Experience: Administration of chemotherapy, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, Management/disposal cytotoxic spills, Monitor chemotherapy, Oral Administration of chemotherapy, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values. - Required IV Therapy/Infusion Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Administration of coagulation factors, Antifungals, Antivirals, Blood/Blood product administration, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line care, Starting IVs. - Additional Skills: Inpatient oncology, Active Immunotherapy Specific/Non-Specific, Administration of Interferons, Administration of Interleukins, Recognize/manage side effects, Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias, Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Hospice care, Patient/Family education and support, Withholding/withdrawing treatment, Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy, Administration of blood & blood products, Starting and maintaining IVs, Accessing/Managing Ports **Experience with Systems:** - Charting: Cerner - Cerner experience required, position specific **Floating:** - Will float within scope to meet facility needs - Floating is 100% required of ALL TRAVELERS - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s nearby **Other Requirements:** - COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required - Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only - Locals accepted: Yes- no radius. - First-timers accepted: Yes - Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend **Special Requirements:** - Please see job description/unit description to find list of required certs depending on unit. AHA and Red Cross only - RQI cards not accepted
