Summary:
Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Springfield, Illinois.
This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on April 13, 2026.

**Required Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years' experience. - Cerner experience required. - Trauma Level I experience preferred. - Teaching hospital experience preferred. **Certifications:** - ACLS and BLS required. - NIHSS certification required. - AHA and Red Cross certifications accepted (RQI cards not accepted). **Licensure:** - Must have active IL license to apply. - Pending license not accepted. **Skills and Qualifications:** - Required Work Setting Experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown. - Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring. - Required Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal, TR band. - Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills/Experience: Feeding tube care and management. - Required Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. - Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy skills/experience: Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. - Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips. - Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: CVA. - Experience with Surgical drains required. - Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management. - Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. - Previous charge experience preferred. - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Tracheostomy care/management. - Skills in managing Cardiac Caths (stents, ablations, watchman, PPM, ICD) and experience with post-op cases such as Video Assisted Thoracoscopy/Thoracotomy (VATS), Hiatal Hernia Repair, Esophagectomy, Endobronchial Valve Placements, Thrombectomy, Vascular Bypass surgeries, Amputations, Carotid Endarterectomy. **Additional Information:** - Float within scope to like units as needed. - Required to work every other weekend. - RTO ideally no more than 5 days. - Must secure housing and complete compliance on time. - Candidates must complete all modules by the deadline prior to the start date.
