Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Springfield, Illinois.

This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on April 13, 2026.

**Required Experience and Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1 year of experience required. - Travel Experience Required. - Must have an active IL license to apply. - Certifications: BLS and NIH required; ACLS preferred. - Cerner experience preferred. - Level I Trauma Experience preferred. - Teaching hospital experience preferred. **Clinical and Professional Skills/Experience:** - Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry on the unit monitoring, use of Rapid Response Teams. - Required Cardiovascular Skills: Post Cardiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal, TR Band. - Required Gastrointestinal Skills: Feeding tube care and management. - Required Genitourinary/Renal Skills: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. - Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills: Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. - Required Medication Skills: Heparin Protocols, manage/titrate Cardiac and Vasoactive drips, PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration. - Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case Experience: Craniotomy, CVA, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury. - Required Orthopedics Case Experience: Ortho Trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements. - Required Plastic Surgery Case Experience: Skin grafts, Surgical drains. - Required Respiratory Skills: Care of Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, ABGs, Oxygen management, Tracheostomy Management. - Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. **Additional Information:** - Experience with Cerner charting system required. - Must have IL license in hand at submission for RN positions; locals accepted with no radius restriction. - Floating is required for all travelers within the hospital or affiliate hospitals. - Candidates must be able to complete all compliance needs promptly and manage housing and attendance.
