Experience and Qualifications: - Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. - Must be able to work in a stressful environment. - Requires licensure and certificate verification through Nursys for submission. - Professional onboarding requirements include education attestation, nursing contract worker onboarding, and screening tests such as Cerner Test-Out, relevant specialty exams, and core competencies. Certifications and Licensure: - Nursys licensure. - Various health screenings and vaccinations are necessary for onboarding (e.g., MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Varicella, Tdap). - Professional documentation required includes Driver's License/State ID, professional references, criminal background check, education verification, and employment verification. Skills: - Implementation and monitoring of patient care plans. - Coordination of patient care across various disciplines. - Management of discharge planning with healthcare team members. - Utilization of telemetry and other monitoring technologies. Other: - Required to work up to 6 weekend shifts and holidays as needed. - This is a position in a Level I trauma center on a 28-bed cardiac telemetry unit.
