Experience and Skills: - Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. - Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Certifications and Licensure: - NIH is required. - Credentials include Nursys and License/Certificate Verification. Onboarding and Testing Requirements: - Completion of Ascension Pharmacology Exam, Medical Surgical Exam, Core Competencies, Unit Specific Checklist (optional), Cerner Test-Out, and Skills Checklist. - Professional requirements such as Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation, Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding, Nova StatStrip, Onboarding Requirements, Profile, 2 Professional References, Criminal Background Check Results, EPLS, Education Verification, Confirmation of Assignment, Employment Verification, Badge Photo, and potentially Name Change Document and Hiring Manager Evaluation. - Personal health history requirements include MMR, Fit Test, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, and other vaccinations and screenings such as 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot), Varicella, Tdap, and Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen. Travel and Schedule Requirements: - Travelers are required to work "up to 6" weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period. - Holiday requirements are based on department needs.
