**Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience. **Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) Required - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required - NIH (National Institutes of Health) preferred **Skills and Qualifications:** - Experience in a telemetry unit with conditions including CHF, MI/Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), Dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), Hypo-/Hypertension, Pleural effusion, Sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues. - Required experience with Epic charting system. - Skills in Cardiac Telemetry, telemetry on the unit monitoring, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, post-cardiac angiogram, post-MI, pre-/post-cardiac cath, pre-/post-cardiac surgery, IV insulin protocols, titration of insulin drips, feeding tube care and management, renal failure, PCA, surgical drains, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), tracheostomy care/management, wound care/wound vac, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry - remote monitoring, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, heparin protocols, manage cardiac drips without titration, manage vasoactive drips without titration, management of chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions/PPE. **Licensure:** - GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal. **Patient Population:** - Adults to Geriatrics **Additional Requirements:** - Compliance with health and safety vaccinations: Flu vaccine required, COVID-19 vaccine not required. - Availability to work some major holidays depending on assignment period. - Locals accepted at the same rate. - Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission, must be Manager or above (charge not accepted). - Responsibility to manage specific cardiac and vasoactive drips as specified (no titration).
