**Experience and Qualifications:** - Required: 1 year of experience - First-timers accepted **Certifications Required:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) **Licensure:** - Valid state license must be pending or candidate must be willing to participate in the Aya licensure project **Skills:** - Charting System Experience: Required (Cerner) - Patient Ratio Experience: 5-7 - Required clinical skills include: - MS/Tele*, Telemetry Oncology*, Telemetry - remote monitoring* - Sheath Removal*, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)* - TR Band*, Feeding tube care and management*, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)* - Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management*, Renal failure*, Phlebotomy* - Peripheral Line Care/Management*, Starting and maintaining IVs*, PCA* - Thrombolytic Agents*, Substance Withdrawal*, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance* - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)*, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)* - Oxygen administration*, Oxygen tanks*, Tracheostomy care/management* - Wound Care/Wound Vac*, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Blood Product Administration - Central line care/management, PICC line management, Heparin Protocols - Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration - Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) - Nasal Cannula, Isolation Precautions/PPE **Additional Information:** - COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only - Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only - Copy of Certifications - Traveler agrees to obtain all required certs prior to start; will accept pending certs. - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby, depending on volume/census. **Modules:** - Module completion is preferred; up to 8 hours, average 3-8 hours spent on modules. - Modules are completed pre-start and self-reported.
