**Experience and Clinical Skills Required:** - Must know how to care for a patient on a ventilator, temporary pacemaker, balloon pumps, hemodynamic monitoring, BiPAPs, and titrating drips. - Experience with common titratable medications: Cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, insulin, levophed, vasopressin, nitroglycerin, nicardipine, neosynephrine, etc. - Experience in critical care settings is implied due to the requirement of caring for ICU patients and titrating various drips. **Certifications and Licenses:** - Active Illinois (IL) nursing license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated. - Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA). - Preferred Certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification. **Other Requirements:** - Understanding that the facility is a Drug-Free Campus and a negative drug screen for all panels must be produced. - The ability to float to other areas such as Med Surg, ED, and BHC if the candidate has experience in those areas, though this is not mandatory. **Qualifications and Education:** - BSN is not required. **Leadership and Team Participation:** - Required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab during day shifts. - Charge Nurse/House Supervisor support available on the unit.
