Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a Tele RN to take an assignment in Peoria, Illinois.

**Required or Preferred Experience and Skills:** - Experience or 'Must have' skills include EKG interpretation, medication titration, and all basic nursing skills. **Required Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) recommended **Licensure:** - Active Illinois (IL) RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated **Clinical Experience:** - Experience working with diagnoses such as MI, CHF, A fib, COPD, pacemaker/AICD placement, various lung surgeries, chest tubes, esophagectomy, and general medical overflow. - Experience in titrating drips, specifically Cardizem and heparin. **Additional Notes on RN Duties:** - RNs are required to read and interpret tele/monitor strips using Phillips brand monitors. - RNs are required to manage Cpap, Bipap if it is the patient's home regimen, and heated high flow in special circumstances with COVID patients. **Leadership and Supervision:** - Charge nurse and house supervisor present 24/7, with the charge nurse rarely taking patient assignments. **Scheduling and Shifts:** - 12-hour shifts: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730. - Weekend requirements are every other weekend depending on the shift. - Holiday rotation requirements apply. **Floating Requirements:** - May require floating to other general medical units. **Orientation:** - Unit/Department Specific Orientation typically lasts 1 shift or part of one.
