**Required Experience and Skills:** - Minimum of 1 year of experience required. - Experience with Epic charting system within the last 12 months is required. - Ability to float to other MS/Tele units or ICU (low acuity). - Skills in PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Post MI, IV insulin protocols, managing cardiac drips (no titration), managing vasoactive drips (no titration), procedural sedation administration/monitoring, MS/Tele, telemetry, cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, feeding tube care and management, pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure, accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management, phlebotomy, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin protocols, PCA, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), ortho trauma, peripheral nerve block catheters, total joint replacement, surgical drains, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, tracheostomy care/management, isolation precautions/PPE, wound care/wound vac. **Licensure and Certifications:** - Valid TN license or compact state license required at the time of submission. - AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. - COVID-19 vaccine is required, with medical/religious exemptions only. - Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions accepted. **Preferred Experience:** - Preference for candidates with travel experience. - Previous charge experience preferred. - Community hospital experience preferred. **Other Requirements:** - Must pass a competency exam for Epic experience. - References required. - Men must shave to pass a Fit Test, failure related to facial hair is not accepted. - No block or schedule requests will be accommodated or added to the contract.
