**Required Experience and Qualifications:** - ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) - RN-Registered Nurse licensure by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation **Preferred Certifications:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 90 days (highly preferred) - BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification within 90 days of hire (highly preferred) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification) within 1 year of hire **Leadership and Clinical Experience:** - Provides clinical leadership to the patient care team for the assigned shift - Offers performance feedback to team members and input to Manager/Director regarding appraisals - Coordinates bed and patient care assignments to ensure consistency in care delivery - Supervises care delivered by other team members in alignment with the plan of care and approved safety and infection control standards - Serves as a strong, positive role model for other healthcare team members **Skills and Responsibilities:** - Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized patient care delivery - Developing strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes - Effective collaboration with peers, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team - Establishes effective working relationships with the entire healthcare team
