**Required Experience and Qualifications:** - Start date within the next 3-5 weeks preferred - Minimum commitment of 13 weeks - NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required - Previous Charge Experience: Required - Years of Experience: 2 **Preferred Experience:** - Charting System Experience: Preferred - Cerner charting system experience preferred **Skills Required:** - Facility births/month 200-300* - High Risk Antepartum* - Interpretation of dysrhythmias* - Insulin drips* - Forceps/vacuum extraction* - Hemorrhage/shock* - Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, LDRP - Sterile speculum exam, NST, Reflex checks, Sterile vaginal exam - EFM, Internal Fetal Monitoring, IUPC placement and calibration - Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns - Administration of blood & blood products, Drawing Venous Blood - Starting and maintaining IVs, Use of infusion pumps, medications as mentioned - Assist with high risk delivery, Vaginal delivery, Circulate/Recover C-Section - APGAR scores, Baby Nurse, Epidural and General Anesthesia - Pain assessment, Breastfeeding Support, Foley catheter management - Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension **Patient Care Experience:** - Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Adults - Rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, transition (no post-partum) **Compliance Requirements:** - Pending license accepted with submission, must be active before start - Local Radius: 50 miles - An on-site drug screen covering specified substances will be conducted.
