Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a NICU RN to take an assignment in Peoria, Illinois.
This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on April 27, 2026.

Job Details:

**Qualifications and Requirements:** - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Preferred Experience: Level 3/4 ICU experience, micro preemie care - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Titrate drips (Fentanyl, Morphine, Precedex) **Unit Specifics:** - Practice Setting: NICU Level 3, Acute Care - Nurse: Patient Ratios: NICU- 1:1-3; Intermediate Care Nursery (NIC) 1:3-4 - All RNs: Required to titrate drips per orders - Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge RN in NICU/NIC; only take patient assignments if staffing gaps exist - Assistance Staff: PCTs are utilized on the unit, no specific ratio stated **General Information:** - Drug-Free Campus: Negative drug screen required - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN and middle initial needed for submission - Scheduling and Shifts: 12-hour shifts, self-scheduling, block scheduling allowed; Day shift requires every other weekend commitment - Floating Requirements: Ability to float to PICU, PIC, Peds, Nursery, Sitter, BHM, help in adult world **Department Equipment:** - Required to work with various equipment: Conventional Vents, Oscillator Ventilator, JET ventilator, CPAP, Nasal IMV, Heated High Flow, Tracheostomy - Tele monitoring: Phillips monitors, all patients are monitored but the unit does not do Tele **Cancellation and Orientation:** - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours - Unit/Department specific orientation: 1-2 days of unit-specific orientation
