- **Certifications Required**: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - **Experience Required**: 2 years - **Skills Required**: Broad knowledge and competency in surgical cases such as CABG, MVR, AVR, TVR, ECMO, TAVR, TCAR, Impella insertion/removal, thoracic/lung procedures; Epic charting system experience within the last 12 months. - **Preferred Experience**: Previous charge experience, community hospital experience. - **Licensure Required**: Compact or TN license required at the time of submission. - **Additional Skills and Procedures**: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, administration of blood & blood products, Aortic Aneurysm repair, bronchoscopy, cardiac monitoring, cardiomyoplasty, cardiothoracic robotic surgery, carotid artery stenting, carotid endarterectomy, cell saver, code response, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), CVOR, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, EGD, electrosurgical units, endovascular aneurysm repair, femoral cannulation, fire safety, infection control, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), laparoscopic cardiac surgery, laser safety, latex allergy, lobe resection, MAZE procedure, mediastinoscopy, mitral valve replacement, PDA, pericardial window, radiation safety, specimen handling/labeling, TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair), thoracotomy, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), universal protocol (time out) procedure, VATS (video-assisted thoracic surgery), ventricular assist device (LVAD/RVAD), telemetry. - **Charting System**: Epic experience within the last 12 months required. - **Other Requirements**: COVID-19 vaccine (medical/religious exemptions only), flu vaccine (no exemptions).
