**Job Requirements & Qualifications:** - **Years of Experience Required:** 2 years - **First-timers Accepted:** No - **Certifications Required:** BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC - **Skills Required:** - Medical Intensive Care Unit - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias - Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG - Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP) - Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring - Chronic/Acute Renal Failure - Arterial line management - Blood Product Administration - Central line care/management - PICC line management - Starting and maintaining IVs - Continuous IV sedation - Emergency Medications - Titrate Cardiac & Vasoactive drips - CVA/Acute Stroke management - Assist with BiPAP management - Care of Ventilated Patient - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Respiratory failure, Suctioning (ETT, NT) - Ventilator Management - Infection Prevention - Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE - Phlebotomy - Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac **Leadership Experience:** - **Previous Charge Experience:** Preferred **Institution Specifics:** - **Travel Experience Required:** Yes - **EPIC Charting System Experience:** Required - **Trauma Level Experience Required:** Level II (Required), Level I (Preferred) **Additional Requirements:** - **Patient Diagnoses Understanding:** - Respiratory Failure/ARDS - Acute chest pain/cardiac/arrhythmias - Stroke - Cardiac Arrest - DKA - Multi-organ failure - Sepsis **Licensure:** - **Pending License Accepted:** Yes - **License Requirements:** Valid MO license or a compact license in home state - **Mile Radius Rule:** No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius **Traveler and Compliance Policies:** - **Weekend Requirement:** Every other weekend - **Float Requirement:** Within service line to ICU units and hospital/affiliate hospitals nearby - **Compliance:** Fit testing, valid SSN, DOB, RTO requirements, references - **COVID-19 Vaccine:** Not required - **Flu Vaccine:** Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
