Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.

**Required Experience and Skills:** - 18 months of experience required, however, exceptions may be made depending on the unit - 2 years of experience needed for specific requirements - Trauma Level I and II Experience: Required - Cardiac Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias - PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience - Starting and maintaining IVs - Titrate Cardiac drips - Proficient Post Cardiac and Post Vascular surgery experience - Strong Cardiac/Post-op heart experience needed **Licensure and Certifications:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required - BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required - License must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted **Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:** - First Time Travelers Accepted - University must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation - Two supervisor references required **Additional Requirements:** - Must float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby - Refusal to float may end in termination of contract - COVID vaccine required; medical or religious exemptions accepted with a doctor's note - Flu vaccine required; medical or religious exemptions only - Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays - SSN and DOB required at the time of submittal **Leadership and Specialized Roles:** - Previous Charge Experience needed - Charge nurse responsibilities may be needed pending operational needs with provided training and resources **Institutional and Compliance Requirements:** - In-state residents require a 6-month/180-day break to reset eligibility prior to the traveler’s year mark - Out-of-state residents require a 3-month/90-day break to reset eligibility prior to the traveler’s year mark - IU perm or PRN employees must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler - Consecutive Contract Policy: A break is required for current or past IU travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel anywhere within IU Health This summary captures the essential qualifications and requirements as outlined in the job description.
