Summary:

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a ER RN to take an assignment in Lee's Summit, Missouri.


This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on May 25, 2026.

**RN/ER Position Requirements and Preferences:** - **Experience Required:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience required - Must have a full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months - Previous charge experience required - Travel experience required - **Certifications Required:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - **Skills Required:** - Pediatric skills including: Abdominal pain, Asthma, Burns, Epiglottitis, Head injury, Hyperglycemia, Identifying and reporting abuse, Infections, Mental/behavioral health conditions, Poison ingestion, Respiratory infections, Seizures, Sickle cell crisis, Skin Disorders, Urinary tract infections - Psychiatric skills including: Acute psychosis, Drug overdose, Managing violent behavior, Psychiatric Hold, Suicidal patient - IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs - Respiratory skills including: Chest tube insertion/management, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of ABGs, Intubation, Ventilated patients - Medication skills: Continuous IV paralytics, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors - Neurological management: CVA - Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG - Professional skills: Isolation Precautions, Triage - Orthopedics: Manage/apply splints - **Skills Preferred:** - Pediatrics: Near drowning - Medications: Procedural Sedation Administration - **Additional Requirements:** - Must be open to floating to all SLHS Metro EDs - Experience with EPIC charting system required - References: 2 required; one from supervisor level or above, the other can be a charge RN. All references must be from the past year. - **Licensure:** - Compact license or licensure for both Kansas and Missouri required at time of submission - **Other Details:** - Locals not accepted (address must be at least 75 miles from the facility) - No pending licenses accepted - COVID-19 vaccine not required, but flu vaccine is required (only medical/religious exemptions allowed) - Must complete EPIC training module choice (test out or module) and pre-start modules - Infusion Pump and Glucometer training required prior to start date
