**Required Experience:** - 2+ years of nursing experience, specifically in direct fresh open-heart admissions from OR, cardiac surgery skills, Swan-Ganz management, Impella monitoring, and CRRT. - Experience with ACT Activated Clotting Time. - Minimum of 2 years RN experience. **Preferred Experience:** - Charting System Experience with Cerner. **Certifications Required:** - ACLS, BCLS (BLS), NIHSS - BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications must be via American Heart Association if required by the unit. **Licensure:** - WV OR COMPACT LICENSE acceptable, pending license acceptable. **Skills Required:** - Arterial line management - Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal - BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance - Blood Product Administration - Care of Ventilated Patient - Central line care/management - Continuous IV sedation - CVA/Acute Stroke management - CVVHD/CRRT - Impella - Infection Prevention - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) - Management of dysrhythmias - Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - PICC line management - Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR) - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring - Sheath Removal - Starting and maintaining IVs - Suctioning (ETT, NT) - Titrate Cardiac drips - Titrate Vasoactive drips - Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) - Valve Repair/Replacement - Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD) - Direct open heart admission
